Truck Trouble

On the one hand, I'm proud of my self for realizing there might be a problem with my truck. On the other hand vehicle "problems" are never cheap and this one is a doozy.

My plan was to straighten out my financal affairs and save for the next 2 years till I could either pay cash for a truck or at least a hefty down payment and get something less than 2 years old. Something that looks like this:
